CREATING A KENNEL ANYWHERE YOU NEED IT
Ultracage permits conversion of an existing level floor space into a complete kennel facility. Simple, plasticdrain plumbing is assembled between the stalls and the existing floor, eliminating the cost of extensive subfloor plumbing. The one-piece fiberglass stall has rounded corners with a standard drain opening. There are no perforations or seams to leak or harbor bacteria. Run dividers are aluminum rod grills or metal-framed, high density polyethelene panels. Choice of aluminum-rod gates or exclusive GlasDor metal- framed safety glass doors. Both closures are reversible.

ULTRACAGE ECONOMY The modular Ultracage system provides warm, dry, low-maintenance kennel space with significant savings in space and installation costs. Compare the savings.

~ 3X5 Ultracage with Rod Top ~

The 3' X 5' X 6' high Ultracage is the most popular size for boarding and hospital use. The divider above the 3' fiberglass stall can be rods as shown or solid, high density polyethylene. This picture shows the rod top, which we can provide as an extra part if needed.

This photo shows HiDry, the baked-on pvc-coated aluminum rack floor, which is also available as an extra for all three Ultracage sizes: 30" X 48", 36" X 60" and 48" X 72".

~ Bank of Ultracage Runs with One Foot Tiled between Cage and Floor ~

The Ultracage is installed on a frame with leveling legs to hold the cage about 12" above the floor to allow drain plumbing above the floor with 2" ABS or PVC pipe to contain the effluent to a nearby sewer connection. The advantage is easy cleaning, elimination of the gutter drain and control of odor and disease. Ceramic tile has been used over water resistant tile backer board to close the gap between the floor and the kennel. You can also use linoleum coved up and under the flange on the Ultracage front. The obvious purpose is to keep water and creatures out.
This photo shows how the 12" space below the fiberglass is covered to prevent water etc from getting under the kennels. We used wonder-board and ceramic tile under the flange below the gate to the floor. FRP or coved linoleum can also be used.

SIMPLE ULTRACAGE MODULAR INSTALLATION

A. One Piece Fiberglass Stall mounts on plywood deck (not shown). Above foor drains are centered 6" from rear wall.

 C. Cage Dividers fit over joint between stalls and attach to foundation frame and existing rear wall. Available in three forms: as an open frame (E) against an end wall; with an aluminum rod grill; or with solid hi-density polyethelene for isolation.

B. Foundation Frame with leveling legsholds sloping plywood deck and stall.

 D. Gate availale as aluminum rod grill, or exclusive Glasdor TM safety glass. Reversible to swing left or right, in or out.

Fast, simple installation. Aluminum foundation frames create a 12" raised stall floor and feature 1/4" per foot slope from front to rear. Leveling legs adapt to any floor and slope.

HiDry TM RACK FLOORS & TABLETOPS

HiDry rack floors and table tops are included with the Isocage and Ultratable. They are also available as optional flooring for Ultracage and Econocage in standard or custom sixes. HiDry Racks are one-piece aluminum decking with solid aluminum supports and framing. The durable, baked-on PVC coating is autoclavable and longlasting.
